“If we don’t like the direction the president is taking the country, which I would argue is taking us into a debt crisis, into a welfare state in decline, if we don’t like that direction, which we clearly don’t, we need to show the country exactly how we would get off that track, get back on saving the American dream. And then give the country a choice in the fall. We think we owe the American people a clear choice of two futures so they can decide this fall what they want America to be.”
