Rep Gohmert: “King” Obama forcing ICE agents to break laws

August 24, 2012 09:28

ICE agents are suing DHS over Obama’s amnesty by agency that forces agents to release any illegals who claim to have status under Obama’s dictatorial amnesty ruling. Rep. Gohmert points out that we have not had the Obama coronation yet. Does it matter? Obama seems to be ignoring the rule of law, the will of the people and congress to push his radical “fundamental transformation of America.” Can we stand four more years of King Obama’s tyranny?

We warned of Obama’s plan to create amnesty by agency fiat in November of 2010! –

The amnesty by agency memo

This Dept. of Homeland Security memo outlines how the agency could create a ‘non-legislative version of “amnesty”‘ to offer ‘administrative relief options’ to ‘reduce the threat of removal for certain individuals in the United States without authorization.’

This  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) memo explains how the Obama administration can get around the laws to let illegals stay in the US without ‘threat of removal’.

The memo states that:

‘In the absence of Comprehensive Immigration Reform, USCIS can extend benefits and/or protections to many individuals and groups by issuing new guidance and regulations, exercising discretion with regard to parole-in-place, deferred action and the issuance of Notices to Appear (NTA), and adopting significant process improvements.

‘USCIS could reinterpret two 1990 General Counsel Opinions regarding the ability of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applicants who entered the United States (U.S.) to adjust or change status. This would enable thousands of individuals in TPS status to become lawful permanent residents.’ [emphasis added]

Translation – Since Obama can’t get amnesty through congress, we can just change the rules to let illegals stay longer and become legal residents.

Read through the memo below to see the myriad of ways suggested to subvert the law and bypass congress to allow longer residency terms for illegals, non-prosecution of illegals and even pathways to citizenship for illegals.

Congress has become irrelevant with the Obama administration.
