Obama’s answer was always no on the pipeline. Congress just forced him to say it before the election. We have a president who promised a plan that would ‘skyrocket’ electricity rates, an EPA that bases its illegal and tyrannical power grab on fraudulent data and suppressed any dissent, and an administration that is collectively working to ruin the oil, steel, coal, and cement industries.

Wind energy is unsustainable. It kills unconscionable numbers of bats, raptors and other birds. It requires billions in perpetual subsidies – and billions more for (mostly) gas-fired backup generators. Its expensive, unreliable electricity kills two jobs for every one supposedly created.

Calling congress’ bluff on the Keystone XL pipeline Obama has said no because 60 days is not enough time for a new environmental impact study. The answer was always no. Congress just forced him to say it before the election.

For all practical purposes, the Democratic Party no longer exists. Its leadership has been taken over by the Progressives. That the Progressives themselves are in fact thinly disguised Marxists / Socialists & Communists is only now beginning to be recognized by any significant portion of the American public. Unfortunately for all of us, the Progressive movement has deep roots in the GOP establishment as well.
