An official report by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform concludes that the administration’s actions are deliberately contributing to higher gas prices and increased energy prices for natural gas and electricity.

Piers Corbyn who calls global warming “lies” also predicted the drought in Russia and floods in Pakistan. On May 3rd he predicted a “tornado swarm” to happen around the 23rd or 24th of May.

It most certainly is a fraud when global warming claims are used to impose a huge cost to consumers when utilities and other large emitters of carbon dioxide are required by law to utilize “alternative” sources such as wind and solar power or to install multi-million dollar technologies to needlessly reduce CO2 emissions.

Ours is a case of geological good news and political bad news. We have under our feet the world’s greatest treasure trove of energy supplies. The bad news is, we have a president and a party that have made it their full-time policy to obstruct, thwart, and forbid extraction of those immense resources, while encouraging other countries to drill, drill, drill.

“It’s a failure,” said Christie. “RGGI has not changed behavior and it does not reduce emissions.”

Currently, 56% of the U.S. trade deficit is the result of oil imports. Two hundred billion dollars of American wealth is transferred overseas every year to countries that don’t like us very much. If current Obama Administration policies don’t change soon these numbers will only get bigger. Regardless of these numbers the Obama Administration only wants to hear about green energy.

There are ulterior political and unethical business motives for the constant claims that man’s use of fossil fuels is going to be responsible for a global climate catastrophe. Those who want reasons to increase the control of our use of energy, flock to this false theory. Those who want to add further high taxes love the idea of something like cap and trade taxes.

Democrats and liberal Republicans, acting at the behest of groups hiding behind environmental cover to push policies giving government more power, are directly responsible for our current situation. This is deliberate on the part of some, while others are simply dupes who have been used.

Their carbon tax will surely cause all mineral processing plants in Australia to lose value, and some will surely close. Low cost coal and diesel power will no longer support our high wages. The value adding will take place in Asia.

Even though disaster is staring the world in the face, far too many climate scientists remain beholden to liberal anti-human politics to do anything useful about it. At a time they should be sounding the warning siren for society to prepare for possible food and energy shortages, most still amazingly insist that an insignificant atmospheric molecule (CO2) is more responsible for warming the Earth than the Sun.
