We cannot afford to turn our backs on this – especially with 23 million Americans unemployed or underemployed, 47 million on food stamps, 128 million dependent on various government programs, and the nation $16 trillion in debt. This is unsustainable, and driving the USA toward Greece and Europe.

Oil Glut to Push Prices Down
Right now the world produces more Oil than it consumes each day, and it has for the past 16 months, this trend will only get worse in 2013. So expect prices to finally start to address this over supply issue in the Oil Markets in 2013.
Perverse environmentalist oil ethics
It’s time to apply the same legal, ethical and credibility standards to these “socially responsible” outfits that they insist on applying to the corporations they denounce. Keep that in mind the next time you see EPA, Greenpeace, Co-operative Bank or anyone else taking pot shots at oil sands or Keystone.
Obama lets cheap oil go to China to pander to radical base
While Obama desperately tries to hide his record on the economy and kowtows to fringe activists, China continues its pursuit of a contract with Canada for Keystone pipeline oil.
Canada Leads the Way on the Pipeline No-Brainer
Congressional Democrats and Republicans have been so angered by the president’s decision against the pipeline that in mid-April the House passed a short-term transportation bill that would facilitate the next stage of the oil pipeline. Obama’s pipeline gap and fake oil support
The “Obama Energy Gap” — the glaring discrepancy between the president’s rhetorical support for Republicans’ ‘all-of-the-above’ energy policy, and his failed energy record that has driven up gas prices and cost American jobs is highlighted by speaker Boehner. As President Obama visits Cushing, Oklahoma today in a desperate attempt to claim credit for expediting the southern leg of the Keystone XL pipeline, Speaker Boehner noted that President Obama has rejected and personally lobbied against the pipeline, and that there’s only one permit requiring his approval — the one he is currently blocking to facilitate the flow of Canadian and American energy to U.S. refineries. Boehner uses a graphic illustration so even Democrat socialists can understand.
Obama chooses Venezuela over Canada in Keystone cop-out
Obama picks Marxist dictator Chavez’s oil instead of ethical Canadian oil choosing Hollywood celebs over middle class workers. What a hypocrite.
Keystone XL Pipeline: Economics, Idealism and Politics
So this otherwise mundane pipeline project is now a hotly debated sticking point between idealism, politics and economics. Welcome to Washington politics, and this is one reason the nation is practically broke.
