A religiously diverse group of citizens joined together with one voice to oppose the Obama Administration’s radical attack on religious liberty in America. Georgia Attorney General, Sam Olens, was among the special guest speakers at the Stand Up for Religious Freedom Rally in Athens. Georgia is one of 27 states currently challenging the constitutionality of the entire Obamacare law in the Supreme Court

When will citizens rise in their righteous anger and demand not a New Deal, not a Great Society, a New Frontier or a Fundamentally Transformed America but instead their original deal. The one we wrested from the hands of the tyrant King George.

Barack Obama’s appeal today was foreshadowed a century ago by Roosevelt. In a profound sense, we are living in the world passed down to us by those 1912 progressives.

This is nothing more than standard operating procedure for a Chicago politician. It is also a normal technique for a community organizer who has been trained in the tactics of Saul Alinsky. It is just such crude strong-arm tactics such as this which open Mr. Obama up to charges of being a typical South Chicago thug.

If the court upholds Obamacare, a precedent will be set by which the federal government will be emboldened and empowered to make laws based on what it decides is in the “best interests” of the American people – eat your veggies, take your vitamins, get your exercise, don’t smoke, don’t drink, drive a hybrid, buy only government-approved energy efficient light bulbs… The list goes on and on.

Since the law was passed over the overwhelming rejection of the voters its validation would cement the dictatorship of the Party in the transformation of America from what we have known into what we would never choose. The Court appears to be our last line of defense. But where does the Supreme Court get its power?

“If you say it’s constitutional under the commerce clause there are no limits whatsoever as to the power of congress. Our system up until now was one where the powers of congress are enumerated and circumscribed and everything outside it is the right and freedom of the individual. You do this and you give unlimited reach to congress.”

So while the Pentagon prepares for across-the-board cuts in national security and defense programs, plans are underway by the Obama Administration to use some of what’s left of our military to operate on behalf of the United Nations and the ICC. The “fundamental transformation” of the United States is now underway at the Department of Defense.

“Hate speech” consists of hatred of whatever liberals like Steinem and Fonda cherish. Therefore, attacks on what they hold dear should be illegal, they claim. Gee, this sounds a lot like totalitarian dictatorship to me.
