Americans are willing to stand up for traditional (biblical) marriage, not only with their wallets, but also at the ballot box.

But how does taking pictures get classified as public accommodations? Because getting your picture taken is classified as “an essential service” in New Mexico.

While the economy will unquestionably be the over-riding issue in November, the issue of gay marriage is not going to go away. Gay marriage will be the final nail in Obama’s political coffin.

Talk about anything but the record. A record $5 TRILLION in new debt, record deficits, record number of people on food stamps, record low labor force, record slow growth, record high gas prices, record billions lost in green schemes, record slow down in oil drilling, record electric rate increases, record time for a president playing golf. Isn’t it time to end this broken record? Can we afford four more years of economic suicide?

The problem with the “states’ rights” approach is that doesn’t prevent the federal government, especially via the courts, from stepping in, as it has before, when it deems states to be “discriminating” against its own citizens.

U.S. District Judge Joseph Tauro ruled in favor of gay couples’ rights in two separate challenges to the Defense of Marriage Act, known as DOMA, a 1996 law that the Obama administration has argued for repealing. The rulings apply to Massachusetts but could have broader implications if they’re upheld on appeal.
