What we were witnessing was the first volley in a media campaign by the Obama Justice Department and FBI officials to play down the serious nature of the national security scandal and the release of classified information likely obtained by America’s adversaries and enemies.

Obama is now untouchable. His narcissistic arrogance knows no bounds. How dare anyone question his actions or motives! With the aid of his sycophant media his tyranny is nearly complete. He has fooled most of the people most of the time. He despises the constitution and the rule of law. He has brought Chicago style thugocracy to the national stage. He has given more taxpayer money to campaign supporters than all other politicians combined. He has increased our burden of debt more than all other presidents combined. And America re-elected this charlatan? Collective insanity.

It was a terrible mistake on their part that enabled Obama to escape the damaging repercussions of the scandal right before what many conservatives called the most important presidential election of our lifetimes.

“These quality-of-life programs remain important to soldiers for stress relief and therefore enhancing military readiness,” Gen. David Petraeus wrote in an Oct. 4 order.

The top U.S. commander in Afghanistan downplayed expectations Wednesday of plans to withdraw American troops from the war-torn country starting next year and described a major policy review ordered by President Obama as little more than a “mid-course assessment.”

In typical Obama fashion, the war in Afghanistan is being used as a political tool. Is this why McChrystal was upset with the administration? Never mind the advice of military commanders, the effect on troop causalities or the benefits to the enemy just make the decision based on politics.

With many voters yearning for an outsider, and military officers looked up to, General David Petraeus could be a powerful presidential candidate and a potentially accomplished President.
