American senator Chris Dodd has proposed the “Livable Communities Act”. The DOT secretary LaHood has formed an Interagency Partnership for Sustainable Communities with the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The Obama perestroika wants to ‘coerce’ you out of your cars. The central planners have you and your lifestyle targeted for change.

‘Sustainable development’, ‘smart growth’ and ‘livable communities’ is all based on UN Agenda 21 which is a way to usurp property rights and constitutional rights. Local officials, at the behest of state or federal government, revise zoning laws to fit into a “smart code” zoning template. A massive reshuffling of property rights ensues.

The GAO report says that in fiscal years 2005 through 2009 the federal government gave ACORN and what the GAO calls “potentially related organizations” more than $40 million in federal funds.

If the government owns Fannie and Freddie, politicians will run it for their political clients, not shareholders, like their own personal piggy banks. They’ll remain wholly owned subsidiaries of the Democratic Party.
