Angela McGlowan, a black congressional candidate from Mississippi, said her tea party involvement is “not about a black or white issue.”
“It’s not even about Republican or Democrat, from my standpoint,” she told The Associated Press. “All of us are taxed too much.”

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 52% of U.S. voters believe the average member of the Tea Party movement has a better understanding of the issues facing America today than the average member of Congress.
Tea Party Patriots will gather on Saturday at 12:00 noon and will be joined by actor John Voigt.
Hoekstra: “I think if the tea party movement had not existed, it’s very possible that we would have had healthcare passed already, and the president would be trumpeting the fact that he had passed national healthcare. I think the tea party movement has been instrumental in derailing that effort. I just hope they continue to be active, involved and successful over the coming days and weeks.”
Despite polls showing the majority of the American people, majority of Doctors and majority of businesses don’t want this punitive destructive entitlement program, the socialist Democrats continue the bribery and coercion to get it passed.
