As you read what has been determined as mastery based American history, ask yourself, are these fundamental, factual, unbiased, politically correct, or indoctrinating?

Sarah Knopp, a Los Angeles teachers union leader (in the Tax the Rich shirt) and Megan Behrent a New York City teacher affiliated with the International Socialist Organization, explain how to push Marxism in the public school classroom. How long will we put up with Marxist union indoctrination of our children and grandchildren?

Failure to display a pro-union sign, the letter says, “will leave us no choice but [to] do a public boycott of your business.” And if you want to remain neutral — well, that’s not good enough. “Sorry, neutral means ‘no’ to those who work for the largest employer in the area and are union members,” the letter says.

Miami-Dade mayor Carlos Alvarez and Commissioner Natacha Seijas were ousted in recall votes. Both voted for huge tax hikes that will saddle county taxpayers for years to come. This should serve as a warning shot to union sympathizers that taxpayers have had enough.

We can avoid mass teacher layoffs and reward our best performers. But we have to act now.

Collective bargaining is extortion and the Wisconsin Republicans have taken the first step in freeing the people from the criminal theft by the joint efforts of Democrats and public unions. The bill now goes to the senate where the Democrats who receive the unions bribes have fled the state to obstruct the will of the people.

Government unions are simply a parasite on the U.S. economy. When President Obama came into office, he shielded government unions from transparency by ending their reporting requirements to the Department of Labor. As a result it is impossible for the American people to know for sure how much of their taxpayer revenue is being diverted into union coffers.

Rush gives an example of union corruption in the teachers unions in double dipping huge pensions while working at the same job.

Hell hath no fury like a teacher’s union scorned. To close a $10.7 billion budget deficit, New Jersey’s Republican Governor Chris Christie last month proposed slashing education by $820 million, an equivalent to a 5% cut for each school district. That follows on the heels of an across-the-board pay freeze.
