Sarah Palin echos Father Morris’ conviction on the trampling of first amendment freedom by the Obama administration in forcing religious groups to supply abortion pills and contraceptives against their conscience.

Self-preservation was high on the list of issues Planned Parenthood lobbied on in 2011. According to its 2009-2010 annual report, the organization received $487.4 million that year in “government health services grants and reimbursements” — close to half of its total revenue.

While Greece is literally burning to the ground, the administration is giddily racking up more debt, blind to where this out-of-control spending leads. Apparently, the President believes birth control isn’t the only thing that Americans can get for “free.” He offered a $3.8 trillion budget, assuming that projects will just materialize on someone else’s dime.

Stories involving a Catholic, a Protestant and a Jew typically end with a punch line. We wish that were the case here, but what brings us together is no laughing matter: the threat now posed by government policy to that basic human freedom, religious liberty. – WSJ

Joining a growing chorus of voices that see the Obama administrations decision to force faith based organizations to provide employee insurance which provides abortion pills and contraceptives for free Sen. Marco Rubio says the administration should admit it made a mistake and reverse its decision. The decision came from Health and Human services head Kathleen Sebelius as a result of Obamacare.

The government will force the Church’s institutions (hospitals, schools, charities) to act in a way Catholics consider sinful: to directly buy insurance for birth control, sterilization, and drugs that act as abortifacients. No, the government isn’t forcing employees to use those insured services. But forcing Catholic institutions to pay for those services makes the Church complicit in those acts. – Business Insider

Only those who are principally opposed to abortion can withstand the onslaught that the left is sure to unleash when there is even the appearance of being pro-life.

Back in 1961 then actor and General Electric spokesman, Ronald Reagan, warned America: “One of the traditional ways of imposing statism or socialism on a people has been by way of medicine…” Reagan went on to describe how a secularist government would use national health care to advance other leftist agendas.

To please his radical leftist pro-death base Obama is ignoring historical precedent and the constitutional rights of Catholics and other Christians in forcing Obamacare’s pro-abortion mandates on religious groups.
