When liberals talk about “gun culture”, they mean the same thing that Barack Obama did when he told his San Francisco fundraiser friends about the people out there who still cling to their bibles and their guns. It isn’t about the guns really, though gun control culture is worried about having that much personal autonomy in the hands of people who don’t share their values and like their independence, it’s about rural America.

Obama is not conflicted. If it takes a dictatorship to give us what he deems “morality” requires — then so be it. Of course, we won’t call it a dictatorship. Dictators never do.

Pushing God out of our culture leaves a vacuum that quickly fills with a culture of violence and death. If there is no God, there is no evil, no right or wrong. We are teaching our children moral relativism which is really that there are no morals.
