The ring of power is corrupting. To be invited to the right parties, get assigned the power seats on the powerful committees, get funding from the rich PACS, get good exposure from the propaganda media, in short to become a part of the ‘ruling class’ is such a great temptation that we must elect people of strong character. And we should have a method of recalling those who fail before their term is up.

They should have been worried last week when usACTIONnews.com first posted the video of the USDA Georgia Rural Development State Director Shirley Sherrod. This week it was picked up by Breitbart and then exposed on Glenn Beck. Ms. Sherrod claimed in a CNN interview that the White House wanted her to quit immediately because the controversy was “going to be on Glenn Beck tonight.”
