Obama administration trying to hide defense layoffs until after election
Obama’s labor department tells defense contractor’s to break the law and not send out notice of layoffs that will happen due to the budget cuts until AFTER the election. Even though there is a law that says 60 days notice must be given for layoffs it would be embarrassing and possibly damaging to Obama’s claims of “jobs focus.” But laws mean nothing to this administration as they continue to do as they please in ignoring laws that they don’t like and making new ones by executive order or regulations when they can’t get them passed in congress.
