If you want to know where America under Obama is heading, one need only look at California, a state so besotted by Progressive politics that it is on the verge of financial collapse after having driven out thousands of its citizens to other states and countless companies, large and small, that existed there. Those who remain are choking to death on taxes and insane environmental mandates.

Fracking could turn the United States into the world’s #1 oil producer within just a few more years, while helping to generate millions of jobs and billions in local, state and federal revenues. It devastates the Obama/environmentalist mantra that we are running out of oil and gas, and makes wind, solar and biofuel “alternatives” increasingly uncompetitive, risky and unable to justify the billions of taxpayer dollars required to subsidize them.

We did not cause global warming and we are not responsible for cycles of disastrous weather. Bad weather events such as Sandy have occurred periodically throughout our planet’s history.

Also on hold are various regulations … that would dramatically increase energy costs, .. —estimated to cost $79 billion to $110 billion and thousands of jobs in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Missouri and Ohio.

Billions will have to be borrowed to fund hurricane rebuilding. Obama wasted even more giving to big campaign donors.

He didn’t need MSNBC to put him on, although in August, he slammed them as cowardly: “You could watch that channel and not even know we have a film out – unless you saw a commercial that we’re running for our film.

While millions of Americans light candles in the dark or hope their flashlight batteries hold out, we have to ask WHY the Obama administration has waged a war on the provision of electricity.

It’s time to apply the same legal, ethical and credibility standards to these “socially responsible” outfits that they insist on applying to the corporations they denounce. Keep that in mind the next time you see EPA, Greenpeace, Co-operative Bank or anyone else taking pot shots at oil sands or Keystone.
