Big business teams up with Obama and the Democrats to change taxpayer money into corporate profits and campaign contributions. ~Editor

Public-sector unionism tends to be a self-perpetuating machine that extracts money from taxpayers and then puts it on a conveyor belt to the Democratic party.

If we aren’t able to pass the Employee Free Choice Act, we will work with President Obama and Vice President Biden and their appointees to the National Labor Relations Board to change the rules governing forming a union through administrative action

Is the Obama administration joined at the hip with big labor? In yet another payoff for union campaign support which reached hundreds of millions of dollars and countless man hours contributed, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood muttering darkly that “we’re not finished yet with Toyota”.

In another underhanded move to pay off union supporters, the Obama administration is going to allow ‘preference’ to contractors and suppliers that match union benefits and wages. The “High Road Contracting Policy” would allow companies to win federal bids without being the low bidder if they are union or match all union benefits and labor rules.

Coupled with union losses in the private sector economy, 2009 became the first year in American history that a majority of American union members work for the government. Specifically, 52% of all union members now work for the federal, state or local government, up from 49% in 2008. Or, to better illustrate these statistics: three times more union members work in the Post Office than in the auto industry.
