[Mass.] House lawmakers voted overwhelmingly last night to strip police officers, teachers, and other municipal employees of most of their rights to bargain over health care, saying the change would save millions of dollars for financially strapped cities and towns.

Congress has surrendered its Constitutional responsibilities by placing our nation in great peril with unrelenting spending.

A terrorist attack on our nation, a real estate depression which affects everyone, and now a budget and national debt calamity which threatens our very currency and economic underpinnings — none of these have been enough to encourage the majority of Americans to grow up.

Heaven help us if politics prevail as usual, and nothing is done to stop this fiscal runaway train. The time for talking is quickly running out.

Forking over another trillion-dollar blank check to this spendthrift administration would be a huge failure. If the debt ceiling were not raised, Obama would have to “live within his means.” That might be very salubrious for the tanking U.S. dollar.

Today, after 23 years of Progressive leadership it has become the truth. Communist China is warning us to make provisions to pay our creditors in the face of a declining credit rating and an ever growing debt. Have they ever heard of the GM bond holders?
