Today we have a government that is careening out of control and those we have elected to protect our rights by upholding the Constitution are abusing our rights and subverting the Constitution.

Obama pulls in Slick Willie Clinton to convince Democrats that the unpopular tax deal is good for them. Clinton also implied that the public doesn’t know what’s good for them saying he thought the congress did a better job the last two years than the public gave them credit for. Obama didn’t stick around to watch Clinton take the spotlight claiming he was late getting to Michelle. Guess that tells you what he really thinks.

President Bush had to rebuild the intel community after Clinton’s neglect. Clinton had so downsized and discarded the Central Intelligence Agency, and 15 other intelligence agencies, that his first CIA director quit. George Tenet, the longest-running CIA chief under Clinton, later wrote that his agency was in Chapter 11 bankruptcy as Clinton was leaving the presidency. The National Intelligence Agency, the nation’s listening post, was going deaf, Tenet wrote.

Shore Bank is a failed bank that has ties to Obama, the Clintons, Van Jones, Valerie Jarrett, Rep. Dick Durbin, Rep. Schakowsky and other powerful politicians. Democrats have blocked an investigation into the Shore Bank scandal in which they received $75 million in TARP funds.

The president is starting to look snakebit. He’s starting to look unlucky, like Jimmy Carter. It wasn’t Mr. Carter’s fault that the American diplomats were taken hostage in Tehran, but he handled it badly, and suffered. He defied the rule of the King in “Pippin,” the Broadway show of Carter’s era, who spoke of “the rule that every general knows by heart, that it’s smarter to be lucky than it’s lucky to be smart.”
