What, then, might happen to America? Considering the current economic situation, some kind of collapse is of course possible. Most likely the United States will change into something else, into a “soft” totalitarian society envisioned by Alexis de Tocqueville, where its citizens are “cared for” but weighted down by mountains of rules and bereft of any dynamism, creativity, or imagination—subservient, socialist, and senile.

Do they think doctors are stupid? Obamacare will reduce payments to doctors by 27%. Think they’ll keep doing the same job? As Pelosi infamously said we had to pass the bill to find out what is in it. What a bunch of idiots! Ramming through a bill that they haven’t read, don’t understand, raises costs, reduces quality and rations care, Democrats should be tarred and feathered.

Many businessmen hung on, hoping for a change in the madness that passes for economic leadership and policy. These hopes were dashed with the re-election of the ideologue driving the madness.

Obama is now untouchable. His narcissistic arrogance knows no bounds. How dare anyone question his actions or motives! With the aid of his sycophant media his tyranny is nearly complete. He has fooled most of the people most of the time. He despises the constitution and the rule of law. He has brought Chicago style thugocracy to the national stage. He has given more taxpayer money to campaign supporters than all other politicians combined. He has increased our burden of debt more than all other presidents combined. And America re-elected this charlatan? Collective insanity.

While we have slowed the juggernaut of the socializing of America into a failed welfare state, we cannot push back the tide that is sweeping over us without a much greater battle for the hearts and minds of the people.

We are borrowing from future generations to buy votes now. There is just not enough money to give everyone what they want or what they are told they “deserve.” Those that believe we can just continue to create more money out of thin air should wonder why we don’t just give everyone a trillion dollars and we’d all be rich.
