In a competitive global economy, for instance, it is bizarrely self-destructive to increase the double taxation of dividends and capital gains.

These idiotic Republicans and Democrats are, sadly, a mirror for the mainstream of the American people. The American people want their entitlements. They want freebies for others, for themselves, or both. But they don’t want to pay for them.

We are so far passed the fiscal cliff that the U.S. is unlikely to be able to borrow its way out of this huge debt. Cox and Archer said that “Borrowing on this scale could collapse the capacity of global capital markets—and bankrupt not only the programs themselves but the entire federal government.”

Americans are in denial about the simple fact that our national debt is the biggest threat to our national security.

“Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.” – Senator Barack Obama when the debt was “only” about $10 trillion.

The socialist Democrats have always increased spending and then called for more taxes. Nothing has changed except a few names. Obama doesn’t want to lead. The Democrats do not want real solutions. They only want power. Power bought with the hard earned money of productive Americans. Americans are selling their liberty and the security and freedom of their children and grandchildren for false promises of free phones, government run healthcare and an ever expanding pool of poor duped citizens who think they can only survive on the government dole. The Democrats and Obama have already bankrupted America.

Ever-growing entitlements have put spending on a trajectory toward a European-level implosion. If they are not reined in, taxes on everyone will have to rise perpetually just to keep pace.

We are on the Obama Express to Fascism disguised as an American version of Euro-Socialism. This may sound harsh to anyone who is unfamiliar with the actual definition of Fascism: socialism with a capitalist veneer.

Could it be that rich and productive countries are tired of subsidizing social welfare, re-distribution of wealth schemes, failed multiculturalism, and sloth?

Tax the rich, put unions in control, nationalize healthcare, weaken the military and make everyone dependent on government handouts seems to be Obama’s plan for America but it hasn’t worked out so well for France and other European countries that have embraced Obama’s socialist ideology years ago. Insanity is doing the same things over and over and expecting different results. Does anyone really believe that the Chicago thug community organizer can make socialism work when it has failed the world over?
