The administration’s record of increases in gas prices, delays in energy production, and federal loans to failed green energy businesses, could get worse.

The rise of the environmental movement began in the 1970s, but really took off in the 1980s with the greatest hoax of the modern era, the claim based entirely on corrupt computer models and astonishingly stupid “science”, that the Earth was within a decade, then twenty, then fifty years, of being destroyed by the rise of carbon dioxide (CO2) in the atmosphere.

Is anyone keeping track of the billions being wasted on Obama’s green dreams? He continues to double down on spending your money on green schemes that have proven NOT to work. Wind and solar energy have been around since the 1800’s. They are not new. They still do not work no matter how much Utopian HOPE there is for a CHANGE in reality.

Its insidious purpose to maintain the same levels of anxiety and fear that has driven the environmental movement since it began in earnest back in the 1970s when it was predicting an ice age would arrive.

The BLS’ new category of “green goods and services” uses an arbitrary and expansive definition to inflate its numbers, but even if the accounting made sense, the category would still be useless for policymakers. If the government really wants to help with job creation, it should just get out of the private sector’s way.

Obama warned us in 2008 that under his plan “electricity rates would necessarily have to skyrocket.” He also told crowds that he would ask Americans to “sacrifice” by paying higher energy costs and higher gas prices. America had a collective brain freeze in electing Obama in 2008. Will we let it happen again?

Even if the federal government only partially lost its land-baron status in the West, the states would ramp up their energy production on the tracts that would be back under their stewardship. That would mean economic growth, a spike in jobs and increased government revenue in those states. – IBD Editorials
