Did Obama lie again? White House told of ATF gunrunner actions last year

A staffer on Obama’s National Security Council, was told about Operation Fast and Furious in September 2010 by former ATF agent William Newell in an email. Newell, the former ATF special agent in charge of the Phoenix field office, told the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee investigating the scandal that he communicated with Kevin O’Reilly. Both Obama and Eric Holder have denied knowing about the operation that let gunnrunners take weapons to Mexican drug cartels in an operation “called Fast and Furious” resulting in the murder of a US border patrol agent and untold number of Mexicans.
