Consumer Watchdog, an advocacy group largely focused in recent years on Google’s privacy practices, has called on a congressional investigation into the Internet giant’s “cozy” relationship with U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration.

Who is Googling whom is this cozy relationship? With Google’s vast database of knowledge and its privacy issues should we worry about a close relationship with an administration that has shown itself willing to threaten and coerce and use inside knowledge?

Can such a person, such a company, be trusted with so much personal information? Google watches us; who will watch the watcher?
