These 33 social scientists do not want to stop just at transfer of wealth, destroying the middle class, erasing national boundaries, and neutering national governments, they want to “change the behavior of citizens,” and re-orient “the private sector toward a green economy.”

There is no consistent or logical way to argue in favor of the Big Government redistributive state. In the end, it all reduces down to: communism. Or, if you prefer, collectivism. Collectivism is the ideology which claims that what’s yours is mine and what’s mine is yours. Marx said it best: “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.”

After exploding the debt by over $5 trillion in spending and ruining the economy Obama and the Democrats are desperate for government revenue to redistribute in their socialization of America. Now they are targeting your retirement accounts. Is that because Social Security is so well funded that everyone will retire rich?

You can’t turn government into a redistributor of wealth. Once you do, you declare war on any notion of morality and justice. Nobody has any business being shocked or surprised when lesser government officials merely act on the same principle as the President, members of Congress, and even the Supreme Court.

This much dependence on government has not been seen before in our nation, and it spells grave danger for the republic. A dose of reality would inform politicians that federal handouts, while politically expedient, will doom the republic if they are not curtailed.
