What is hard to understand is how America was gullible enough to elect a Marxist president when the evidence of his beliefs, his associates, and his political activities were so easy to see. What will be utterly beyond comprehension is a majority of our fellow voters drinking the kool-aide a second time when it is obvious from Mr. Obama’s rhetoric that he is selling a blatantly anti-capitalist and anti-American line of constitutional suicide.

Our economic system is fundamentally broken, but most Americans don’t realize it yet because times are still relatively good. However, the next great economic crisis is going to wake a whole lot of Americans up.

Dictators love to say, “You can’t do things without each other.” What they really intend to convey is: “You can’t do things without government.” It’s one small step from that to, “You cannot do anything without me.”

I have never seen an entire nation so eager to give away and destroy their country and their American exceptionalism in exchange for the progressives’ cultural Marxism promoted in American textbooks and taught by academia’s promise of equality.

Forced “charity” that takes from the successful and merely redirects it to the unsuccessful provides the wrong kind of incentives. Our tax and welfare systems should reward thrift, entrepreneurship, and industry, not indolence, timidity, and profligacy.

I see America moving in that direction. The emergence of TSA with their intrusive pat-downs and molestations at airports, random checks at metros, at train and bus stations, did not see many citizens protesting, they are being submissive, and they are giving up their rights, their freedom of speech, of being free Americans. We are transforming into a police state.

It does if you are a committed Marxist.

Taxpayers continue to bear the heavy burden of subsidizing campaign contributors, the rich and corporations under the cover of a nostalgic vision of farming. “Farmers” who receive about 80 percent of government subsidies are multimillionaires whose incomes put them in Obama’s definition of the rich.

Not content to stop at rewriting immigration policy, education policy and energy policy, yesterday, President Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released an official policy directive rewriting the welfare reform law of 1996. The new policy guts the federal work requirements that were the foundation of the Clinton-era reform.

The Left and Islam both promote collectivism and universal submission and subjugation to them. Of course they are allies.
