Obama can no longer blame former President Bush for his failures, cannot blame events in Europe, and cannot blame Mother Nature. He has only himself to blame. Voters from the Left to the Right know this.

All of this demonstrates the fact that the talk about Obama and socialism goes far beyond philosophical or ideological questions about one’s economic ideas. This is not just an academic discussion. The term “socialism” is associated with organizations, some benign but some openly hostile to the United States.

The president’s mask slipped. The politician beneath was revealed. Voters, including the president’s core female supporters, got to see what they had only suspected: Obama’s priorities aren’t necessarily theirs.

To say that the economy is anemic is an understatement – GDP is 1.9 percent, only 69,000 jobs were “created” in the month of May and unemployment is at 8.2 percent. Unemployment figures are constantly revised, massaged, and misrepresented. No wonder, citizens no longer trust their government, they fear it.

Leftist economists are calling for Obama to increase his record spending and debt to gamble on an economic boost to save his socialist presidency. It was Albert Einstein that said insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
