Americans are being deliberately starved of the energy sources we have in abundance. We are being robbed in the form of higher prices for electricity produced in the most expensive fashion, wind and solar, instead of affordable coal. Not only are gasoline prices up, but the government continues to demand more mileage per gallon of gas.

America must lead in real energy production
We have the world’s largest coal reserves and 50%more coal than Russia, but nevertheless US coal is under massive assault from this President. As you recall, Obama promised before he was elected to bankrupt the coal industry and he is making good on that promise with the outcome being huge increases in energy costs for us to endure.

By advancing President Obama’s goal of shutting down power plants and raising electricity costs, it impairs job creation, economic recovery, and public health and welfare. It is intrusive government at its worst. Illinois families and businesses will pay 40-60% more.
