Today, the Rubio for Senate Campaign announced the Chiefs for Quality Law Enforcement Committee of Continuous Existence has endorsed Marco Rubio as their candidate for the United States Senate.

“Marco Rubio is the only candidate in this race that we can trust to go to Washington and put forth a positive agenda that will make Florida safer,” said Amy Mercer, Chiefs for Quality Law Enforcement Chair and Florida Police Chiefs Association Executive Director. “As Speaker, Marco proposed innovative ideas to safeguard Floridians and we know that as our next United States senator, he understands the need to take on new challenges that threaten our way of life. More importantly, we know that he will stand beside the men and women of the law enforcement community all across our state.”

Thanking the Committee for their support, Rubio said, “It is an honor to have the support of Florida’s Police Chiefs. Few other organizations can claim to have protected our state’s citizens more than our police chiefs, and I am so proud that they believe in our campaign that promises to challenge the policies coming out of Washington.”

The Chiefs for Quality Law Enforcement support candidates who show a strong commitment to increasing our public safety. The organization is comprised of police chiefs from around Florida.
