Expect Obama’s poll numbers to continue the free fall when he seems to be a kid in a candy store instead of the leader of the free world.

The public is beginning to wonder if Obama has time for the country in between vacations and constant campaigning. Just coming off of trips to Spain and the Gulf, the First Family will head to the elite’s favorite playground, Martha’s Vineyard, for an eleven day stay.

Coming only days after the unemployment report showed jobless claims rose to the highest level in nine months, the Martha’s Vineyard vacation makes Obama seem out of touch with Americans.

The many vacations do not seem to have hurt his spending plans though. The CBO forecasts that the deficit this year will be $1.342 trillion on top of last year’s $1.413 trillion and next year’s $1.066 trillion. “The current pace of U.S. spending is unaffordable and unsustainable and without a change in direction this country is headed for fiscal calamity,” said Republican Senator Judd Gregg.

The CBO reported further that the future for economic growth is bleak with slow manufacturing and chronic unemployment.  Congressman Paul Ryan has stated that we are on a path to “wiping out the middle class”.

Oh well. Party on Dude.
