Unions have pledged over $100 million in support of Democrats this election cycle. They want to own the government. Kendrick Meek points out that it is the unions that have made the difference for him and will pay them back with your tax dollars if elected.

Meek is the 6th highest recipient of funds from building trade unions as a congressman and the 3rd highest as a candidate in this election cycle. In the above video Meek rants against Wall Street but has taken $112,000 from wall street donors. His union support includes $83,752 from education related, $74,000 from building trades and $60,951 from public sector unions.

Meek has also taken $154,500 from lobbyists including $28,100 from the Podesta Group (which has BP as a client) which has ties to John Podesta at the Center for American Progress and George Soros.
