Early voting sets record in North Carolina

More than 45,000 Guilford County, NC residents voted early last month, by far the most ever in a midterm election.

“Of those who took advantage of the early voting period, which began Oct. 14 and ended Saturday, more than 23,000 were registered Democrats while nearly 16,000 were Republicans and nearly 6,000 were unaffiliated.”
