Commerce suicide? Obama Commerce Nominee Bryson on Support for “Hidden Carbon Tax”

President Obama’s nominee to head the Commerce Department, John Bryson, speaks at a UC Berkley Energy Symposium in 2010 on support for cap-and-trade in which he calls it a “hidden tax.” Bryson is for “regulatory steps” to act “right now” to increase energy costs. Bryson advocates the type of crippling punitive carbon plan recently passed in California. Bryson should fit well with team Obama which includes an energy secretary that wants have high gasoline prices  “like Europe”.
