Harry Reid to force vote on Obama’s anti-commerce secretary

Jobs killing policies would expand under anti-growth John Bryson as Obama’s anti-commerce secretary. There is no better choice to help implement Obama’s anti-growth energy policy and redistribution of wealth plans.
The Daily Caller reports that Harry Reid will pull a fast one with the senate 
rules to get Bryson approved since there was a “permanent Senate floor “hold” placed on Bryson’s nomination by Oklahoma GOP Sen. James Inhofe in July for Bryson’s involvement in founding “the radical Natural Resources Defense Council” in the 1970?s.”
IBD Editorials exposed the anti-business bent of Bryson in June:
“The nominee for commerce secretary founded an anti-energy group and believes in redistribution of wealth to help poorer nations. At this rate, we’ll be one of them.
Bryson also spent time as an environmental lawyer and co-founder of the National Resources Defense Council, perhaps the most anti-energy, anti-growth progressive group on the planet. He has served as an adviser on energy and climate issues to U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon at a time when the U.N. was pushing anti-growth climate change treaties based on fraudulent and doctored data.
Bryson told a U.N. energy conference in 2009 that a global wealth-redistribution program was needed to keep poor people in developing countries from using their own forest resources.
Bryson told a University of California, Berkeley, audience in 2010 that a cap-and-trade system was a good way to hide a carbon tax but that he preferred a robust system of regulations to restrict older forms of energy such as fossil fuels and redirect energy production toward greener alternatives.
Bryson supports renewable energy mandates, a carbon tax hiding behind cap-and-trade legislation, a global redistribution of wealth, fighting climate change and restricting domestic development of our vast fossil fuel resources. He is President Obama’s ideal nominee.”
How can we believe Obama cares about jobs or the economy when he surrounds himself with anti-business anti-growth cabinet leaders?
Back in December 2010 the Obama administration convened a “White House Environmental Justice Forum” which included White House Council on Environmental Quality Chair Nancy Sutley, EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius, Secretary of Energy Steven Chu, and Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano. “Environmental justice” is a favorite term of former White House “green jobs” czar and self avowed communist Van Jones.
“Environmental justice” is the leftist code for redistribution of wealth through “green” policies. IBD Editorials reported in “Is Green Socialism EPA’s Real goal?”:
“While it destroys jobs with its regulations, the EPA has an opening for an “environmental protection specialist” whose job it is to help the agency meet its “environmental justice goals.” Meet its what?
The job, located in New York City, pays up to $84,000. No college degree is required — just a hatred of industry, development and fossil fuels, and a belief that minorities are the deliberate victims of capitalist exploitation.
EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson has made environmental justice an EPA priority, and in July the agency released a 56-page “guidance” to help its employees “advance environmental justice” to low-income and minority communities.
President Obama campaigned on a promise to make “environmental justice policies a priority within the EPA.” That’s why he picked Jones, a self-proclaimed Marxist, to be his “green jobs” czar.
The EPA’s job is to regulate air and water quality, not to chase phantom pollutants such as carbon dioxide or to make pollution a racial issue.”
Just last September former head of GE Jack Welch said “President Barack Obama’s administration has an “anti-business” bias which manifests itself through intimidation, trade, taxes and regulation.” Bryson is sure to bring more of the same.
Obama’s appointments reflect his socialist Marxist ideology. His science czar, Holdren, and his recent appointment to Medicare & Medicaid, Berwick have both espoused beliefs in the ’spread the wealth’ philosophy which is Marxism. Marxism is inherently anti-business.
Obama’s pick for his top economic advisory position, Gene Sperling, is a ’spread the wealth’ attorney with little real economic experience. Sperling wrote “Those who create great wealth do so on the backs and shoulders of previous generations of taxpayers…” and “The notion that ‘you earned it’ is more correctly, ‘you earned it with the indispensable help of the government.’”
Sperling is also a former Fellow at The Center for American Progress which is a George Soros funded left wing think tank that includes radical communists like Van Jones a former Obama White House staffer.
Among Obama’s leading advisers were the head of Center for American Progress John Podesta and at least ten additional CAP experts. Bloomberg wrote about it as the Soros-Funded Democratic Idea Factory Becomes Obama Policy Font.
To Obama and his leftover sixties hippie advisers who have spent their entire lives either in the shelter of government or in quasi governmental academia, business is evil and the manifestation of all that is wrong with capitalism. That is why Obama has given shout outs and praise to the Wall Street protesters putting him on the same page as the Communist Party, Nazi Party, Iran’s Ayatollah Khamenei, and Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez.
His promised anti-energy policies, job killing Obamacare, ever increasing debt, failed stimulus, payoffs to union supporters and Utopian “green” revolution are collapsing the US economy. It is time to look at what Obama does not what he says he does.
