Alabama AG questions Holder’s authority on immigration law

November 4, 2011 09:35

The Obama justice department has challenged state laws limiting benefits to illegals and allowing states to enforce the immigration laws. Alabama’s Attorney General has asked the DOJ to show how it has authority to require records on illegals attending Alabma schools. The new law passed in Alabama says the state does not need to provide school for illegals.

The law has been challenged by the Obama administration as Obama sides with the rights of illegals over those of US citizens. The Alabama AG is gutsy considering the Obama justice department sued  Gov. Jan Brewer of Arizona personally as well as her state when they passed their immigration law.
