Teacher’s Union “children’s fund” is political campaign fund

The teacher’s union takes dues for what is called a “children’s fund.” The funds are then used as attack ads against candidates the union wants to defeat. New factory orders, new housing starts, durable goods, unemployment figures, M2 money supply, the S&P 500 stock index, and the spread between the 10-year Treasury and the federal funds rate are the predictors for our economy’s health. If you were an emergency doctor with the finger on the pulse of this American economy under the current administration and Congress, you would be calling code blue.

Little Green Morons

After three years of the most astonishingly stupid and wasteful green energy policies inflicted on Americans, it is hard keeping score of the various beneficiaries of government largess that are going bankrupt. Ener1, touted during a visit by Vice President Joe Biden—who inadvertently called it “Enron1”—filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Bernanke’s Anti-Stimulus

If the Fed truly wished to help our economy get back to “normal” then it would allow the free choices of individual borrowers and savers to determine the interest rate. It would also end its implicit practice of picking winners and losers in our economy.

The Catholic Church Has Launched A Fight Against Obama That’s Unprecedented In American History

The government will force the Church’s institutions (hospitals, schools, charities) to act in a way Catholics consider sinful: to directly buy insurance for birth control, sterilization, and drugs that act as abortifacients. No, the government isn’t forcing employees to use those insured services. But forcing Catholic institutions to pay for those services makes the Church complicit in those acts. – Business Insider
