From $600 limousine rides, Hollywood movies, to funding for organic pet shampoo and reality TV in India, these reports have exposed the underlying problem in Washington: spending. At a time when our federal debt is nearly $16 trillion, these reports give Congress an opportunity to choose from a menu of options for cutting spending and balancing our budget one penny at a time.
