The Court insists upon litigation conducted by state officials whose preference is to lose the case.

The court accelerated the advance of gay marriage in the US, and decided that defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman is unconstitutional.

The proliferation of federal entitlements programs, inadequate monitoring of temporary visas, an open southern border with Mexico, lack of voter IDs, and a progressive government with a liberal agenda, has brought us to the immigration reform panic we face today. The U.S. has not proven to be up to the financial and cultural task of integrating so many new people.

It is one thing to attempt legislation that encourages liberty, individual responsibility, and limited government, while being true to God’s Word; it is quite another to support legislation that promotes servitude, dependence, and massively grows government that is driven by whatever morality seems to be most popular at the time.

We can no longer ignore the government’s complicity in the predictable social costs that result from more than 17 million children growing up without their fathers. Fatherless boys and girls are much more likely to run away, abuse drugs, get pregnant, drop out of school, commit suicide, or end up in jail.

A nation of pragmatic narcissists will not long endure, for when there is no thirst for truth and no one to guard and transmit the things that make us human, we’ll quickly give ourselves over to our baser impulses, social cohesion will unravel, and culture will crumble.

Why isn’t our country producing lots of strong, independent, hard working men of character like it once did?
