Taxpayers continue to bear the heavy burden of subsidizing campaign contributors, the rich and corporations under the cover of a nostalgic vision of farming. “Farmers” who receive about 80 percent of government subsidies are multimillionaires whose incomes put them in Obama’s definition of the rich.

Obama touted his “green jobs” spending program as a way to create jobs. Now the DOE admits it was never about jobs. At cost per job between $9 million and $13 million it’s insane to think it was a job program. It was really about funneling taxpayer money to Obama campaign donors. Over $16 BILLION has gone to companies with ties to Obama contributors.

Not content to stop at rewriting immigration policy, education policy and energy policy, yesterday, President Obama’s Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released an official policy directive rewriting the welfare reform law of 1996. The new policy guts the federal work requirements that were the foundation of the Clinton-era reform.

USDA making Spanish soap operas to push food stamps
