For the first time in U.S. history, the annual growth rate of debt is projected to remain above the growth of the economy for more than a decade.

As the rewards for work or effort declined, fewer individuals exerted themselves. Likewise as the reward to capital diminished, capital was either withheld or went to areas where it was treated more favorably. Outsourcing, globalization and similar terms are easily explained in terms of “Atlas shrinking.”

Strapped consumers have to cut spending on other essentials to keep up with high gas prices which have risen 38 out of the last 39 days. Higher energy prices drive up the cost of everything. Remember Obama promised us higher energy prices in 2008 when he said “under my plan electricity rates would necessarily have to skyrocket.” That’s one promise he kept.

Sadly it is Geithner who forgets (or willfully ignores) the causes of the crisis. Just a few highlights:

U.S. government says that the annual rate of inflation is somewhere around 2 percent. Those of you that have to buy food and gas on a regular basis realize how much of a joke that is.

We are at a crossroads between freedom and slavery. Are the elites going to enslave the producers? That is the critical question, and this issue is also the causal factor behind what is perceived as just another economic crisis.
