How will the Obama administration respond to a formal complaint in the wake of serious black-on-Asian violence at South Philadelphia High School?

When we see children in elementary schools out carrying signs in demonstrations, we are seeing the kind of mindless groupthink that causes adults to sign petitions they don’t understand or— worse yet— follow leaders they don’t understand, whether to the White House, the Kremlin or Jonestown.

After years of liberals remaking our history through the Texas School board approval of text books which get used throughout the nation, conservatives finally have enough votes to get back to history and away from propaganda.

This June, Princeton University will welcome to its hallowed halls former Obama Green Jobs Czar Van Jones, a self-proclaimed communist. The story of how America started down a path leading to communist instructors in our classrooms begs to be told. Brainwash a child in militant anti-Americanism, and maybe he’ll be a future Van Jones.

Radical leftists continue to try to propagandize children through the school systems. Rewriting history through exclusion of important people and events is just one way they hope to indoctrinate a generation. Books used by Texas are used throughout many districts across the US.

I’ve never been so embarrassed to be called a Texan. Normally, I’d be proud to associate with others from the Lone Star State, but right now I’m ashamed! The University of Texas at San Antonio will host the annual Smut for Smut event, an atheist group’s initiative encouraging college students to exchange their religious texts (Bibles, Korans, etc.) for pornography.

Buffeted for years by declining enrollment, political squabbling and a revolving door of leadership, the district’s fortunes are so bleak that Superintendent John Covington has said diplomas given to many graduates “aren’t worth the paper they’re printed on.”

Making the changes necessary to save the state will necessitate resisting the destructive influence of public sector unions. And that’s fine. It’s long past time that public sector unions start working to serve Californians, rather than demanding that Californians work ever harder to serve them.

But most college financial-aid departments still want private companies to originate and service the guaranteed loans. That’s because the alternative—a public option run by the Department of Education—has been distinguished by its Soviet-style customer service.
