Sure seems like a win, win, win situation – an energy stimulus program that didn’t require any taxpayer support and wasn’t even part of any intentional energy policy from Washington.

Energy is responsible for these states’ job recoveries “to a very large degree,” says Jim Diffley, senior director of U.S. regional services at IHS Global Insight. “In North Dakota and Alaska, the energy sector is predominately very much the single most important factor.”

The wind industry actually shed 10,000 jobs since 2009 at the same time the energy capacity of wind farms had doubled. Meanwhile, the oil and gas industry had added 75,000 jobs. How many more jobs would have been added if the Obama administration had not imposed a drilling moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico.

Using the myth of global warming to justify blowing $68 billion on green schemes while gutting the U.S. national defense is “reckless” says Sen. Inhofe. Defense Secretary Panetta has promise a “green” military. Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and safe? Can we stand four more years of this economic suicide?

So you need to understand that you are no better than a fruit fly and you need to die in order to avoid depleting the planet’s supply of food and its energy resources. God knows I would like to ignore or—better still—never have to hear from these climate Nazis, but that is not going to happen so long as The New York Times, the United Nations, and a host of others keep repeating their lethal lies.

The screeching charlatans of the global warmists have come out of the closet and admitted their goal is redistribution of wealth. They’ve abandoned any pretense of science and instead are amping up the hysteria aimed at scaring you into paying up lest you die in your own carbon footprint.

Some wish to have energy rationed or be made increasingly expensive, creating artificial fuel poverty for millions. Such policies will make food, clothing, shelter, transportation, and medical care – in short, everything – more expensive and scarce, create more unemployed workers, push many people back into conditions of poverty and deprivation, and gravely impair human health and welfare. This strategy will not save the planet, as they hope, because one of its first casualties will be environmental stewardship.

These 33 social scientists do not want to stop just at transfer of wealth, destroying the middle class, erasing national boundaries, and neutering national governments, they want to “change the behavior of citizens,” and re-orient “the private sector toward a green economy.”
