Keynes’ view was that the government had to spend lots of money on public housing, better roads, and improvements to the electricity grid to get money into general circulation, stimulate the economy, and restore business confidence. The unemployed had to be given work even if it was the government not private enterprise that would provide the capital.

Obama is a committed socialist ideologue. Look at what he actually does not what he SAYS. Note the key words he always uses: “fairness”, “fair share”, “the wealthy”, “big corporations.” He pushes class warfare and redistribution of wealth as taught by Karl Marx.

Obama’s socialist viewpoint, his servitude to labor unions, and his academic economic advisers with their belief in Keynesian economic theory, led him and the Democrats down a very wrongheaded path. America is in misery because of this wrongheaded understanding of the economy and business by our ever more controlling central planners in Washington.

We are living by the socialist mantra that each shall provide to the rulers according to their means. The rulers will then use the money to subsidize those they who will support them politically with votes or money and to provide distracting circuses.

Obama is sitting pretty in the highest office of a land that he is decisively destroying. The destruction would stop and reverse tomorrow if somebody would take the lead and oppose those Americans who place security above liberty.
