You may have read about the Philadelphia TSA worker who scared the hell out of an unuspecting 22-year-old passenger by planting a bag of white powder in her carry-on bag.
Luckily, he’s already been fired.

But if TSA was unionized, as President Obama has hinted he wants, then this worker would still be drawing a paycheck, probably awaiting litigation over whether TSA can even punish him.

After all, the union for Customs and Border Patrol employees has successfully defended people who sleep on the job, fail the firearms test, and get into off-duty fights. The first order of business has been rolling back those pesky union transparency regulations that allowed watchdog groups, the media and union members to know how union dues are spent.

It is being called the biggest union theft in history. So why haven’t we heard of this union theft? Why hasn’t it been all over the news?

At least six Senate Democrats appear willing to drop card check in exchange for a repackaged version of the bill that maintains other paybacks to organized labor such as binding arbitration. Payback is right. Unions own the Democratic party through their massive 100’s of millions in campaign donations and member campaign labor.

SEIU, of course, is a major cog in the Obama political machine. SEIU President Andy Stern is a frequent White House visitor, ardently pushing the government takeover of health care, which he expects to lead to more unionized health care workers paying dues to his labor empire. The SEIU has also long had ties with ACORN, another major component of the Obama machine.
