Excuse me as I put my rose colored glasses back on, silently hoping to see another woman — the right woman — break through the glass ceiling in the most important election of our lifetime.

The statement is a representation of a worldview (shared by our president, I might add) that defines women and “women’s issues” in an authoritarian way and purposely ignores anything or anyone who would dare challenge their assumptions. It puzzles me how liberals do not get how important stay-at-home moms are to our nation?

Concerned Women for America sent a letter to Obama pointing out his hypocrisy in remaining silent about Bill Maher’s nasty name calling of Sarah Palin. Maher has donated a million dollars to Obama’s now acceptable super pac even though he called Palin the “C” word the left remains locked solidly in his defense while attacking the right via Rush Limbaugh for calling the White House operative Fluke a slut.

Must be a lot of grace out there for Newt Gingrich as he maintains strong leads in conservative states and gains in New Hampshire. Concerned Women for America’s President Penny Nance talks about grace, Gingrich, Santorum and Bachmann on CNN.

Such media promotion of early sexual activity — not to mention the promotion of gay behavior — flies in the face of what is best for teenagers and bucks the current, more positive trends that show teen sexual activity, teen abortions and teen births declining.

[F]ar too many have bought into warped statistics and faulty estimates — the “overpopulation myth.” Their mentality has gone from “filling the earth” to “family planning” and from “be fruitful and multiply” to “population control.”

There are no constitutional problems with the Defense of Marriage Act. The act falls well within the constitutional authority of Congress. Barring a judicial activist court’s distorting the law, we fully expect all challenges to its constitutionality to fail, as they have in the past.
