Allen West spoke at a GOP press conference in which several members expressed their lack of confidence in AG Eric Holder. West included the Black Panther vote intimidation case along with the murder of border patrol agent Brian Terry as reasons for Holder to step down.

“Why would any government official with an ounce of common sense think it’s a good idea to facilitate the smuggling of thousands of guns into the hands of violent Mexican drug cartels? That’s what Operation Fast and Furious did.”

Arizona Sheriff Paul Babeu railed against AG Holder and DHS Napolitano. On the phone with NRA’s Cam Edwards Babeu also noted that Mexico wants to extradite those responsible for the gun running scandal Fast and Furious that allowed US weapons to be smuggled to Mexican drug cartels resulting in the death of hundreds of Mexicans and at least one US border patrol agent.

Assistant AG Lanny Breuer’s knew about Justice Department operations that walked guns from the U.S. to Mexico as early as April 2010. Holder told congress he had not heard of it as late as May 2011. Joining a growing list of congressmen calling for Holder’s dismissal over the politically motivated gun smuggling operation known as “Fast and Furious” the NRA says Holder committed perjury. The DOJ gun running operation allowed weapons to be sold to buyers who then smuggled the weapons to Mexican drug cartels resulting in the death of a US border patrol agent and hundreds of Mexican citizens.

Ever the artful dodger Clinton dances around the question of the DOJ’s Fast and Furious gun trafficking being illegal. Seems to be a lot of clueless government bureaucrats considering the international ramifications of the US government giving weapons to Mexican drug cartels and causing the death of a US border patrol agent along with potentially hundreds of Mexican citizens.

AG holder lied to congress. American and Mexican citizens have died due to the government’s program of deliberately letting Mexican drug cartels get guns from the US. Why? To support the claim that the drug violence in Mexico was the result of US gun sales so that Obama could institute gun bans by executive order.

Yesterday, CBS News investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson told radio show host Laura Ingraham that the White House yelled and swore at her over her reporting on the Fast and Furious gunrunning scandal tied to the deaths of two U.S. law enforcement agents. Attkisson also revealed that she’d also been yelled at by the Justice Department.
