Greens have understandably concluded they can get what they want, restrictions on all energy use, in the courts of justice if not in the court of public opinion.

Silver, who resigned in early October 2011, amidst the “Solyndra $535 Million Saga” (FBI raid and all) –– even testifying in September 2011–– was also one of the “stars” of the May 16, 2012 House Oversight Committee hearing.

Obama is “creating jobs” at 922 percent of the private sector’s cost. Thus, for every green job that Obama supposedly spawns with taxpayer dollars and borrowed Chinese money, private enterprises could hire nine people.

At this point, supporters of the Obama Administration’s loan program have little else to say except, “Bush did it too!”

These green government “investments” take from one (by taxing or borrowing) and give to another, but they merely move money around. They do not create jobs.

A recent report from the UN admits that their IPCC climate report, which is the basis for all this “green” wasteful spending, is bogus. In very polite and sophisticated language the IPCC admits that it’s claims were NOT peer reviewed and were selected to support their political agenda.

American families, workers and taxpayers are caught in a vicious crossfire from President Obama’s army of renewable energy, anti-hydrocarbon, anti-economic growth regulators. From the White House to Energy Secretary Chu, Interior Secretary Salazar, EPA Administrator Jackson and thousands of unaccountable bureaucrats, the administration is raising energy costs, killing jobs, stifling job creation, and turning dreams of opportunity and prosperity into nightmares for millions of Americans.

Abound Solar joins the growing list of Obama’s green dreams gone bust. Very few permanent green jobs were created under Obama’s green dream loan programs. The jobs that were created bilked taxpayers for $6.7 million cost per job. Now that’s a jobs plan!Can we afford four more years of economic suicide?

So BrightSource has its government loan, and PG&E has committed to buying BrightSource’s expensive solar power, instead of cheap natural gas, in order to fulfill California’s renewable electricity generation requirement. – Washington Examiner
