At the heart of environmentalism, aside from its wish for far fewer humans, is a hatred of capitalism. The failures of communism and socialism everywhere attest to the way state control of all aspects of life is ignored by Greens.

House Democrats, in passing the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009, stripped the EPA of the power they now want to preserve. That legislation was written by Waxman and Rep. Edward Markey (D-Mass.), another signatory of the April 4 letter.

The term “green” has been overused and misrepresented for so long that a considerable percentage of the public is feeling overexposed to it, tired of it, and skeptical of it. In much the same way as global warming fatigue has caught up with a majority of the American public and keeps alarmists in line, green fatigue is a good thing.

Based on global warming theory — and according to official weather forecasts made earlier in the year — this winter should be warm and dry. It’s anything but. Ice and snow cover vast parts of both Europe and North America, in one of the coldest Decembers in history.?

Recently San Diego’s Lynceans group hosted a global warming debunking seminar in which several speakers highlighted effective debate tactics for global warming skeptics.

Today Hungarian atmospheric physicist Dr. Ferenc Miskolczi, says he has found and proven that the IPCC and their experts are wrong in their theory about how the greenhouse effect works. In the process, he has shown that changing CO2 concentrations are not the determining factor the IPCC and other scientists claim.

Democrats are determined to get cap-and-trade. It’s just a question of when. There’s too much money to be made for Democrat cronies to let this opportunity pass.
