Apparently Immigration and customs Enforcement (ICE) employees believe the directors are more interested in pushing amnesty than in enforcing current immigration laws.

Former Houston police chief Harold Hurtt has been an outspoken opponent of immigration enforcement on the local level and critics say his policies enabled illegals to kill two Phoenix police officers.

The Obama Administration is pushing amnesty for illegal immigrants. The Administration has also reversed a number of policies that had improved enforcement. These changes have included ending work­place raids and a shift toward “catch and release” of illegal immigrants, instead of detaining them and deporting them. Rather than pursue comprehensive immigration reform, the Administration and Congress should ensure that the existing policies on border security, interior enforcement, and non-immigrant visas are working.

These “distributors” are now exporting their violence as well. According to the Department of Justice, cartel “hit teams” have carried out murders and kidnappings in more than 230 American cities. Phoenix, Arizona, seems headed for becoming the kidnapping capital of the U.S.
