Those who give to politicians expect a lot in return. That’s clear from the budget-busting payoffs directed largely at organized labor by Democrats in Congress and the White House. A bill making its way through the Senate would bail out union pension funds to the tune of $165 billion.

Two unions, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFCSME) and the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) plan to spend $100 MILLION to save incumbent Dems. The same week a Democrat introduced a $165 BILLION bill to bail out union pensions. Not a bad return.

Democrats in Congress have added $173 billion in new spending to the federal deficit in just three months since they passed a law requiring that any new expenditures be offset by cuts elsewhere in the budget.

Obama’s private terrorist group, SEIU, was escorted by police to a bankers home to threaten him and his family.

Even though unions have already gotten taxpayer bailouts of benefits ($20 BILLION in GM fiasco alone), preferential treatment in federally funded work, the overturning of 76 year rules on unionization, ownership in Chrysler and GM to the detriment of shareholders, creditors and taxpayers, and the lions share of stimulus money directed to public work projects which will have to be union, they will be expecting more like taxpayer funding of a trillion dollars of under funded union pension liabilities.

The story about the bailout attempt of ShoreBank first began breaking last Thursday night. The FDIC was demanding that the bank have $125 million in investments by Friday, but discussions to bail out the bank, which has close ties to both senior members of the Obama Administration, as well as the Clinton family, went deep into the weekend as Chicago politicians scrambled to save the bank.
